"son, i'm disappointed."

i let my mom down today. i don't usually do that on a regular basis. well not purposely anyways. but today i knew i was making a bad decision and yet i still continued. i was taking a typical nap on the couch and was slipping in and out of consciousness as my mother talked to michael, my brother. the hum of their voices were lulling me back into sleep, but only until my mom started talking about what went down today. all these bad feelings rushed over me and i started feeling uncomfortable. then she told my brother, "son, i'm disappointed. really disappointed in her."
