today marks the beginning of the lasts. explanation? junior year will be ending, senior year will be starting. and senior year is full of lasts. last orchestra concert. last class. last time i will see you. last chair (haha!). but senior year isn't here yet. i have plenty of times to fill in some firsts before they become lasts. to me, today made me realize i'm coming to the end of the free public education. i just took my last TAKS test ever. my first reaction is the usual "THANK GOD, IT'S OVER!". but i know it's all going to fly past me in almost no time. well, no jinxing it. and no being sentimental. moving on.
the more i live, the more i realize the impact of attitude on life. to me, attitude is more important than facts. it is more important than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what people say, think, or do. it is more important that appearance, giftedness, or skill.
